Over the last two years, the final weekend of February has been a busy one for riders with many of them burning the tarmac on the heavenly NH4 (AH48) in a test of their skills and endurance, racing against time to achieve the prestigious Long Distance Riders (LDR) certification.

Widely known as BA-PU-BA, an acronym for Bangalore-Pune-Bangalore, is the near-perfect circuit to test a rider’s endurance levels. The idea behind the BAPUBA GROUP is to have a single-point contact for every Indian rider who wants to achieve the LDR certification.

‘THE BAPUBA CHALLENGE’ is mainly focused on long-distance certifications and it has three categories – Easy rider, Full Throttle and King Of Road. The BAPUBA Group’s aim is to facilitate all aspiring riders to get the certification by providing proper guidance through our orientation sessions, apart from helping them with the documentation process and ensuring hassle-free processing.

Safety is of paramount importance to us and we take extreme care in preparing riders to undertake the BAPUBA CHALLENGE in the safest possible way. Our orientation will touch upon every aspect of the ride, right from the planning stage through detailed preparations to D-day support and finally helping with the formalities for the certification.

We are ardent followers of the ATGATT philosophy, a.k.a ‘All The Gear All The Time’, and we urge our riders to hit the BAPUBA circuit fully geared up. For those of you who are spending sleepless nights worrying about choosing the right set of gears, we will be more than happy to assist you in finding the perfect life-saving equipment for you.

We will also stress on the importance of getting sound sleep before the ride, apart from sharing a few hacks on stretching and relaxing en-route to help foster your endurance levels to carry on the ride safely.

The BAPUBA Group is privileged to have the most experienced riders who have successfully completed all the categories, namely, Easy Rider, Full Throttle and King of Road certifications in flying colours.

We also have a pool of cross-country riders who have traversed across all terrains and riding conditions and are a source of motivation for aspiring riders.

BAPUBA 2018 will be another milestone in our efforts to contribute to the spirit of motorcycling, while encouraging riders to achieve the esteemed LDR certification.
